Mahabaleshwar Rappeling - Lodwick Point - 17 May 2009

Introduction:
You must have visited Mahabaleshwar many times, but have you though of descending in the any of the deep Valley ? If you have thought so, then here is the right opportunity for you. The rappelling at Lodwick point is one of the most thrilling experiences!! While you rappel, you will find a thousand feet deep valley fill with thick forest below you.

Meeting Time and Place
Fergusson College Main Gate at 6:00 a.m. Sharp.

Schedule
Leave Pune by 6.20 a.m.
Reach Mahabaleshwar at 10:00 a.m.
Start the rappelling activity after having breakfast.
Complete the activity and have lunch at 1:00 p.m.
Visit the Mahabaleshwar market and time for shopping.
Start the return journey by 4:30p.m.
Reach Pune by 8:00 p.m.

What to Bring:
1. Luggage packed in good trekking sack (compulsory)
2. Complete spare set of clothes & socks
3. Water bottle (atleast 1.5 ltr) compulsory
4. Electral/ Glucon-d energizers and personal medication
5. A sweater/warm wear
6. Good trekking shoes (sandles, chappals, floaters not permitted)
7. A sleeping bag / Thermocol mat and shawl / normal satranji and shawl
8. Plate, spoon, mug (Compulsory)
9. Torch with Extra pair of Batteries
10. Camera, Binocular (Optional)
