Objective - trek along crystal clear mountain stream in lush green forest surroundings
Terrain – small trail through sandy, rocky trail and grass land along river side, small uphill climbs
Difficulty – easy/moderate
Duration – 2 days, Start Saturday early morning, 1 overnight camp and return by Sunday night.
Distance - 2 hours North of Chennai, trek distance is around 20km
Transportation - using our own cars, bikes
Expense - around 500Rs (shared petrol, food, ...) - CTC is non-profit and cost is shared among all
AGENDA
Assemble Sunday 5am near TIDEL PARK main entrance
Pick up people along route (see pickup points below)
Leave Chennai before peak traffic
Take breakfast along the way
Park cars near village nearby the base of the mountains
Walk towards the dam and start trekking along the mountain stream
Swim in the many crystal clear water pools along the stream
PICKUP POINTS:
TIDEL Park, Taramani – 5.00 am
Madya Kailash – 5.05am
Guindy circle (Le Meridien) - 5:10 am
Koyambedu (out gate of parking of public bus stand) - 5:40 am
MUST CARRY LUGGAGE:
All participants must carry following items

Good walking shoes, preferably boots
Own Water bottle (with water), lightweight Plate, Spoons and Cup
Small/medium back-pack to carry water, food, camping gear
LED torch to get around at night - MUST
One extra set of clothes to be kept in car to change later (optional)
Sun cap and cream
A sprain relief spray -- like Volini / Amrutanjan
Camera and 500Rs extra cash
Food will be taken care of by us
VERY IMPORTANT: Travel lightweight or you will find it difficult
