Objective - Locate the hidden treasure inside the Nagala mountain range
Terrain – walking through valleys/streams, over mountains, boulders and rocks
Difficulty – high, participants need to be in good physical and mental condition. Expect to walk at least for 8 hours non stop per day in hilly terrain. Night time trekking is also likely
Duration – Saturday early morning till Sunday late evening
Distance - 3 hours North of Chennai, around 15km trek
Transportation - own (cars, bikes)
Expense - around 500Rs (shared petrol, food, ...)
Advance – to be paid when joining – 500Rs (difference will be settled later on)
AGENDA
Start from Chennai around 5am in the morning
Pick up people along route (see pickup points below)
Leave Chennai before peak traffic
Drive along NH5, NH205 towards Nagalapuram
Take breakfast + packed lunch along the way
Park cars at base near mountains and start treasure hunt in several sub-teams
Reach back to Chennai on Sunday night around 11pm, take dinner at Chennai Deluxe hotel (optional)
Upload photos to make non-joiners jealous and sorry for not joining us
PICKUP POINTS:
TIDEL Park, Taramani – 5 am
Guindy circle (Le Meridien) - 5:20 am
Koyambedu (Natan Cafe) - 5:40 am
MUST CARRY LUGGAGE:
Good running shoes, extra pair of sandals/cheppels
Small/medium back-pack to carry water, food, camping gear
LED torch to get around at night - MUST
One extra set of clothes to be kept in car to change later (optional)
Sun cap and cream
A sprain relief spray -- like Volini / Amrutanjan
Camera and 500Rs extra cash
Food , water will be taken care of by us
VERY IMPORTANT: Travel lightweight or you will find it difficult
